About

Captivations was born when I started getting the fanlisting bug in earnest. Though I'd been known to join a few here and there, I didn't really catch the wave until I started to learn PHP, and then--whoa, Nelly! Finally, I figured I needed a place to keep all my joined codes for fanlistings that didn't really fit on my other sites, and so I created this one. Now I even have my own two fanlistings hosted here as well.

This version features a picture of the full moon that I took on Christmas Eve 2007; I edited it and added text in Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0, and designed the layout around it. The layout was coded in Notepad. Fonts used in the top image are Vladimir Script and Nueva Std, both available on Microsoft Windows Vista computers; font used for the website's text is Tahoma.
